Psychology Services Rates

The practice is contracted in to most medical aids and claims can be submitted to medical schemes on the client's behalf. In the event that this practice is not contracted in to a particular medical aid, the client would need to pay directly (via cash or EFT) and then claim back from the medical aid. Most medical aid schemes provide some cover for psychological services. This, however, does not include payment for missed sessions.

A direct payment option is also available. Clients are provided with a tax invoice which can be submitted to SARS as a medical expense if the fee is not paid for by medical aid. 

Therapy fee structure for 2023:
Direct Payment: R940 per 50-60min session
Medical Aid Claims: Charged slightly below medical aid rates (no co-payment required), the practice is contracted in to most medical aids and claims can be submitted on the client's behalf.​

The same price is charged for face to face and virtual sessions. 

A limited number of further reduced rate slots are periodically made available. Assistance for financially disadvantaged individuals are considered on an individual basis. Please Contact the practice for further information.

​Any rescheduling or cancellation of sessions must be done at least 24-hours prior to the session. Failure to do so will result in the client being liable for payment for the missed session as the timeslot could have been allocated to another client. Such consideration will be appreciated.
